This silence marked the end of an era, but now, a new chapter is on the horizon. The acquisition deal, valued at $255, involves a payment structure that begins with a modest $100 upfront. The remaining amount will be paid monthly over three years, with $4,000 installments each month, plus a percentage—specifically 25%—of the stations' gross monthly revenue until the total sum is settled. Interestingly, the seller retains the right to match any potential sale of the stations within five years of closing, protecting their investment.

KMSO will revive its popular Hot Adult Contemporary format under its iconic brand, “102.5 Mountain FM,” reigniting its connection with longtime listeners. Meanwhile, KHDV will introduce a completely new programming direction and brand, replacing its former Classic Hits identity known as “The Drive.” This reinvention promises to bring fresh energy and appeal to its audience.
