Throughout the tournament, which culminates on November 13, 2025, visitors to the Inalpi Arena fan village will have a unique opportunity to engage with interactive games and activations designed to raise awareness about environmental issues. The best part? You can win prizes while you learn! Think of it as edutainment at its finest.
According to ATP Tour staff reporter Andy West, the Nitto booth is a hub of activity. Take Robert Zielinski from Poland, for example. He and his daughter, Berta, were in Turin to witness the thrilling showdown between Carlos Alcaraz and Taylor Fritz. But beyond the on-court action, Zielinski appreciated the event's commitment to sustainability. Berta, a self-proclaimed Iga Swiatek fan, also enjoyed the interactive elements.
"It is nice to see a big event like this recognizing the impact it can have on highlighting sustainability for the people,” Zielinski told ATPTour.com. “We had fun playing the games.”
So, what exactly can you do at the fan village? To claim a prize from the coveted Gacha (Gumball Machine) in the Prize Corner, fans must participate in at least two different activations. One of the highlights is the interactive "Butterfly Wall," which visualizes the impact of conservation efforts. Another popular activity is the high-energy BATAK Game, cleverly framed as simulating the collection of sustainability actions for the planet. And of course, no visit would be complete without snapping a photo with the iconic Nitto ATP Finals trophy.
Nitto, as the title sponsor, is clearly leveraging its position to champion environmental responsibility. They're not just putting their name on the tournament; they're actively promoting a greener future. Alessi Russomando and Francesco Stellato, who traveled from near Naples, Italy, to attend the event, were particularly impressed by this aspect.
“Sustainability is an important theme,” said Stellato, a Novak Djokovic enthusiast. “We are living in a very tough moment for our planet, so it is fundamental for us and for the next generation.”
“[It is] a fantastic atmosphere here at the tournament and in the fan village,” added Russomando, a Jannik Sinner supporter. “It’s relaxing being here and seeing the champions.”
But here's where it gets controversial... Is it enough for sporting events to simply raise awareness about sustainability?
