The new feature works seamlessly. Once the update is live, users will notice a dedicated "Audio Overview" button within the PDF viewer on the web version of Google Drive. By clicking this button, Gemini analyzes the document and generates an audio summary within minutes. Users can listen to the summary directly from a side panel or receive an email link once the file is processed, providing flexibility and convenience.
The generated audio recordings, typically ranging from two to ten minutes, are automatically stored in a dedicated "Audio overviews" folder within Drive. This ensures easy access and allows users to listen on both desktop and mobile devices, catering to various preferences and situations.
