Imagine the thrill! Someone in Cork is about to have their life changed after winning a staggering €292,572 in Saturday night's Lotto draw. Can you imagine the possibilities? This lucky player matched five numbers and the bonus, securing a life-altering sum.
The winning ticket, a Quick Pick, was purchased on Thursday, November 20th, at the Costcutter shop located at 14/15 Bridge Street in Cork city. So, if you were in the area around that time, it's definitely worth a double-check of your tickets!
The winning numbers from the draw were: 02, 13, 29, 32, 35, 44, and the bonus number was 45.
The National Lottery is urging all Lotto players in Cork to meticulously examine their tickets. One person is now holding a ticket worth a remarkable €292,572!
The winner from the 'Rebel County' is advised to sign the back of their ticket immediately and keep it in a secure place.
To claim the prize, the winner should contact the National Lottery Prize Claims team at 1800 666 222 or email them at claims@lottery.ie. They will then arrange a visit to the Lottery HQ to collect their winnings.
National Lottery spokesperson Sarah Orr shared her excitement, stating, “While Saturday night’s Lotto draw saw over 77,000 players nationwide win prizes across the Lotto and Plus draws, it was a Cork player who won the biggest prize of all! The Rebel County player, who matched five numbers and the bonus, scooped €292,572 after purchasing their ticket in Cork city. We are appealing to any of our players who may have popped into Costcutter on Bridge Street on Thursday (20th November) and purchased their Lotto ticket, to carefully check their ticket today.”
And this is the part most people miss... Because there was no winner of the massive €5,187,053 jackpot, the Lotto jackpot for Wednesday's draw is set to roll over, estimated to reach a whopping €5.5 million!
